DKKSD Adarsh Sanskrit College is initiated with the aim of protecting and propagating the fundamental principles of Sanatan- Dharma, with the inspiration and blessings of Mahamana Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya ji, Tyagamurti Shri Goswami Ganeshdutt ji, lecturer Pt. Deendayal ji and with the efforts of Pt. Rishiram ji, Lahore in 1916. Shri Diwan Krishna Kishore Sanatan Dharma Sanskrit College was established. It has been recognized as Sanatan Dharma Adarsh Sanskrit College (Lahore), Ambala Cantonment by the Ministry of Education, Government of India from 1 November 1982.

As per the orders of Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, and with the support of the Chairman of the Management Committee, a six-day Official Language Hindi Capacity Building Program-2025 was organized by the College's Modern Department and Skill Development Center from 10th to 15th September in the college premises.
In accordance with the directives of Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, the preliminary round of the Computer Talent Hunt Competition–2025 was conducted at the college on 9th September 2025.
Three-Day Training Program on MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint Three-day hands-on workshop titled “W.E.P. TO WEB: The Journey of excellence WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT” from 25.08.2025 to 27.08.2025 was successfully conducted.
